Rather like The Open, the weather in the morning was lovely but became blustery and rather wet as the afternoon wore on. Tough golfers to brave it! The Swifts would like to say that this is not acceptable behavior. Cosmic Boy (A Avis) won with 39 points and 23 putts from Hank Hall (M Popham), Karate Kid (Oliver Yarde) and yours truly. The handicap system is appearing very severe but fair (apparently). In the crisps were Dusty (shell shocked probably), Wolverine (S Sully), Vulcan (G Whitworth) and Green Lantern (P Godwin). Captain Marvel (A Johnson) was going well till the 17th where he 4 putted so it can happen to anyone!
